Going to Ecuador to get married. Will I be entitled to residency?

Hello, I hope someone can answer my questions. My fiancé is an Ecuadorian woman and we plan to marry when I go to visit her this September. Once we get married in Ecuador, will I automatically be granted residency as her spouse (I’m Canadian)? As we will be doing it during a visit, I will be there on a visitor’s stamp and will return to Canada after we are married for a few months before going back permanently. Will I need to apply for any kind of visa when I go back if I am planning to live and work there? I’m hoping to find a job teaching English in Guayaquil. Are these jobs easy to come by (my Spanish is pretty good and I plan to improve it before I go back—I lived in Mexico for 5 years)?

Thank you in advance for your help!

Don't know any countries where a tourist takes a local mate and automatically gets residence.  Good luck in your search for spousal visa knowledge.  Might need a lawyer.
