Any suggestions on obtaining a job teaching English?

My husband and I are ready to move to Cambodia when his work contract ends this September.

I have started to contact recruitment agencies and replied to a few job posts on here. Do you guys ave any other suggestions for me?

Also, my husband is from Poland, but raised in Italy, and went to school in the US to improve his English. What kind of jobs should he be looking for? I see many ESL teacher jobs require it to be your native language.

Hello.

Although NES is always mentioned, there are several [or a lot] people from other countries teaching English.

Maybe the highest education level schools stick to NES,but a bit lower level will probably accept English speakers that have the right papers. ESL or TESL are standard requirements as far as I know.

Contacting recruiting agencies is a good thing.

The only other, and best, thing is to come over and visit schools, give them your curriculum and tell them you will be back soon, ask the receptionist to forward your curriculum to the director.

All the schools and many agents will post in the Facebook groups. I think there are about five decent teaching job groups and you'll find plenty of ads for teachers.

This will also be helpful I think, here's a list of most of the schools in PP with email addresses.
