International Schools in Serbia are reasonably priced. The prices cannot be compared to the standard of living in Serbia because the teachers who are employed at these schools are from abroad and have been educated internationally which means they are trained to employ teaching methods which my children are accustomed to, methods that should be more or less the same, internationally.
Teaching standards and methods of any local teachers are simply very different. This is why one should be prepared to pay international fees anywhere in the world. If you are not, send your children to local schools. My children go to Brook Hill International School and my children's teachers are from England, which means they are PGCE qualified. This means they have completed two years of specialist teacher training IN ADDITION to their university degree. So, I know that I am getting excellent value for money.
