Hi
What would be considered a reasonable salary for:-
A general office worker with responsibilities, fluent english and good bulgarian.
A telephone sales person fluent french and good bulgarian.

It depends on which city you are in. VT or Gabrovo pay significantly lower salaries than Sofia. Even Varna and Plovdiv have lower than Sofia... so... truly depends.

It would be either Plovdiv or Sofia. I am fairly open,it depends on employee availability, we are opening a office in Bulgaria.

The office personnel will be happy if the salary is approx 800 BGN net, which means that the gross wage have to be around 1000 BGN
The sales person can have 800 basic salary but it is good idea to give them bonuses for results in this way you'll maximize profit and have their attention on the job. If they can make a bonus of 30% to 40% monthly聽 you and they both will be happy.

reliable person with good English ?聽 a good idea is to plan 1500 net for Sofia and 1200 for Plovdiv

Gross salary will be + 35 % roughly. The bonus idea is good, especially if it is performance based.

lower salary will lead to either low quality of staff or frequent leaving.
