Is Uber more readily available in the interior?
If I don't want to buy a car, what are the transport options when having heavy shopping bags with me? Bus/train won't help.

hi.

i just read your post, and i can say for my own experience:聽 I have been In Panama for 2 months now, living in the city coming from USA, Florida. I take uber for almost everything ;-), also the street taxis, just have to make sure they don't take advantage.聽 And I can say that as a person that was born in Panama, however, I wasn't raised in Panama.. I make sure I let these taxi drivers now that they can't play that little game of raising the fare because they think I'm a foreigner ;-)

Uber is only in Panama City, not the interior. There are buses everywhere and they will have a helper to assist you if you have packages. There are also taxis and some of them are pickup trucks who can carry large items.
