How to get a CNP?

Hi all members,

I am recently moved to Bucharest. Is there anyone from Asia and had some issues obtaining CNP?
Can someone please tell from where should I get CNP?

I am looking an internet source, but they are pretty difficult to understand.

You can obtain the CNP from the IGI, inspectoratul general Imigrari:.

First you have to get a registration certificate (Certificat de inregistrare) and for that you need:
鈥� form - cerere-tip, from聽 IGI;
鈥� passport (original and copy);
鈥� work contract or proof (original and copy);
鈥� REVISAL extract that proofs your work contract authenticity - you will get it from your employer accountant;
鈥� pay fees
