i-KAD for expats

Hello,

I have gone through an article that the expats now can apply for i-KAD and there will not be any need of carrying passport everywhere now.

Have anyone applied for the card personally?
Please let me know the process, and how much it is going to take?

Since you would have to carry something anyway, why not the passport? I see no reason to apply unless the govt forced it, and even then....

Yeah, I am very bad in handling my passport
If the i-KAD is lost, It is only a matter of <50RM for the new one. I can't even assume the situation of losing passport.
