I am a currently living in Abu Dhabi. I'M 25 years old and I'm applying for a job in cayman islands. I have done some research however I still have lots of questions. What is the social life like over there? Is there a large expat community and is it easy to meet people? Are there many Irish out there?
Also is it easy to find shared accommodation?

Terri, the best thing you can do is to check out one of the many blogs written about Cayman by residents. Blogs will generally give a feel for a place that standard Google links won't tell you. My own blog's earliest posts were addressed to a local audience, so you could start there. When you do that, most of your general enquiries will be answered and you can move on to specific questions. What research have your done to date, by the way?
