Anyone experienced in teaching English privately in Cebu City? I have worked for institutes but find they pay less for huge groups of students and have no clue. I have freelanced in Shanghai, Dubai and Phnom Penh. I travel to students homes and offices. Mostly teaching businessmen at Jica, Metlife, Adidas...

I've been told to stick to mothering rather than earning money in Philipines but since I don't have kids I think I'll ignore that little nugget of advice

I have seen a few programs where foreigners can teach English to Chinese students so long as they have a good internet connection. You鈥檒l have to search them out as I don鈥檛 really recall the names but, from what I understand and have read, it is doable.
Not sure that it鈥檚 legal w/o a work permit here but, I guess that would be for you to decide.

Well you wont be teaching any Philos English and most of the other foreigners who might be interested stay only a short time,so I dont like your prospects.

Try 51 Talk, they do one on one to Chinese students and pay quite well.
