Thank you for this opportunity where we come to know ourselves personally. Unfortunately however I wont be able to attend it as a result of some commitments that coincide with the date. As far as I'm aware the event didn't actually take place. I was at 21 CBB at around 22.30-22.45 and the waiters didn't have the table ready yet as no one had turned up for the reservation. He had also told me that others had been there not 5 minutes before me asking for the expat-blog table and then left. Not sure where everyone was...

Anyway, there is another meet up on Wednesday at 21. A group of us met up last week. Check out the 'Looking for Good Bars' thread, the details are there and theirs a couple of mobile numbers you can phone or text when you get there to locate people.

I was actually there last night. But yeah they did mess my table reservation up. I went there and they said that there were no table reserved, so I was by the bar most of the time. It was hard because I didnt know who came for the meet up and stuff..where were you at, I was actually on the lookout for you, but didnt really spot anyone who looks like you!

oh i waz too late to get tis!! well im been up and down changkat and i go there often so buzz me if anything.. my office is real near so its alwayz a short walk for me to the bars! nywayz, this month 24th June ( friday ), will be there at changkat BB somewhere.. holler at me.. and 30th of June (thur), my friend from Japan is comin down and I havent planned anything.. Its not a big issue to find organizer i was in BKK for 6 months and recently arrived to KL and i had a friend Luis in BKK who use to organize all expat meet up in BKK and it was so fun .. so i guess if we can better place to hang out in KL that would be good option ..

OK, so we've tried this a couple of times now with little to no success. So I'm going to give this another try this Friday.

I'm flexible on both Location and Time. So I'm going to suggest 2 bars in two different areas

1) Twenty One,Changkat at 9PM

2) Twenty One, Bangsar Shopping Centre at 9PM

Both should be sufficiently busy that it's not quite, but not so packed that new people trying to meet up will get washed away in the crowd.

Let's see if we can make something happen. And let's make a choice!
