Visa processing and medical

Hi guys!

I'll be moving to Bahrain soon and I have some questions about medical test. I've searched the forums and my question is not yet asked.

I'm a type 2 diabetic. I've just finished my medical test here in UAE and the results only shows presence of glucose in the urine test. Since there will be another medical test to be done once I arrive in Bahrain, will there be a probability that my visa get rejected? I just wanted to know if there has been cases of being unfit to work because of diabetes.

Thanks and hopefully I can move to Bahrain without any hitch.  :)

Go through this link on the LMRA website:

Especially the part on the pre-employment medical for expats.  It shows which illnesses are a problem.   I don't think your condition will be an issue as it doesn't sound like uncontrolled diabetes.

I've gone through the link. My only concern is that during the medical in Bahrain my sugar level might be high. Thanks.

As I said, I don't think it should be a problem.  But then again, what other choice do you have?  you can share your concerns with your sponsor and ask them.
