Hi Meri,
prior seeking jobs in Switzerland, may I suggest to read all relevant chapters in ch.ch, thus you both will know what’s needed to come to Switzerland prior to take up any work. Also please check out the cost of living, which I am sure is much higher than in Turkey. I know, Switzerland is known to have high wages, however, cost of living, especially rent, health insurance, food items are extremely expensive.
Wish you both nice readings (as mentioned) and best of luck. 🍀 cheers, Reinhard

Hello,

Switzerland is a beautiful country to live in.  Clean and quiet, well depending on where you at.  There are areas that are not a nice or the people around the area, however, any country will have that issues and that's a fact.  People are lovely...you will meet nice and friendly or you may not.

You need to do your research well in each community.  You may want to based your preference in terms of your origin, likes etc.  For example, in St Gallen, lot's of Albanian.  So find out from each Kanton with regqards to the community itself.

Cost of living is not that expensive, depending on where you shop.  You can get cheap meat if you are close to Germany border which will alow you to purchase a max of 1 kilo each person per day.  Non-perishable items will allow you a max of 300 Euros each person including meat.

Restaurants are expensive, so eating out will cost per person roughly from chf 20 + drinks.  School for children are very expensive though.  rent is pretty good, depending on area and how many rooms.

Bottom line, if you are good in budgeting your money on food then you will be fine.  Rent and bills are fair.  Parking in Switzerland especially cities are expensive, almost the same in UK.  UK is less expensive in terms of food shopping and restaurants, lot's of choices.  Unlike Switzerland, its quite limited.   In exchange, you will have tranquility, less stressful, fresh air if near the Alps and fantastic sceneries.

Hope these info will help you decide.
