Love to meet up. Headed for Hamburg when I can find a place to live in the city center

Lucrezia Montalto

Wish you good luck then!
You can find cheap accomodations in St. Pauli or St. Georg, even if it's very difficult to find a house in the city.
Anyway I've just moved into a small apartament in a students block in the city centre.
This is called Albrecht Mendelssohn Bartholdy Haus, try and check if this solution could suit you :)

Thanks! I teach English. Have done for 25 years now. Live in Berlin a the moment. Not really Germany anymore. It's being gobbled up by the former DDR. I'm a Wessie, German bred, Wish I'd never moved in here. We're not liked.

Oh I'm sorry, is this the reason why you're considering to move to Hamburg?
I wish you good luck in the house hunt!
