Divorce settlement in Norway

HomeAgain130

My Norwegian spouse and I have formally separated. We were married for nearly 3 years. I am an American and have moved back to the USA. I gave up my house, car and all my belongings when i moved there. During our marriage i had to continue to spend my entire monthly disability income on food and household expenses as he did not allow me access to his bank account.
My question is "Am I entitled to any financial settlement from him and how do i proceed?"
It's been very difficult starting over. I have nothing now. I can not even afford to buy a car.

You need an international lawyer.  Support payments from Norway?  Good luck.

Thanks for your response I'll look into one. I know alimony is out of the question but I feel a one time settlement amount should be awarded.
