Saudi Cultural Attache Sri Lankan Degree Attestation

Hi,

I recently got a computer programmer job offering in Saudi Arabia. It is said that for my job profession I have to get my degrees attested by the Saudi Cultural Attach茅 office and then by the Saudi Embassy in Sri Lanka. But the problem we don't have a Saudi Cultural Attach茅 in Sri Lanka. Is it really a requirement now in KSA?

I also want to know whether it's possible to attest my Sri Lankan degree certificate in Cultural Attach茅 of the Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia in New Delhi. Is it required to produce an attested degree certificate when applying for the Iqama and registering in the Saudi Council?

If anyone has any idea regarding this please do share them with me. Really appreciate your help
