Visa run for retired couple considering MM2H . 90 days not long enough

Post new topic

Bella principessa

We are in Penang researching whether to apply for MM2H.. we are in a lovely air bnb apartment which we can have for 6 months if we choose. However, we have 90 day visa but don't think it will be long enough to make an all important decision...
Can we get a second 90 day visa after leaving to go to Singapore for a few days?  I understand it is up to immigration at the time. Also we have dual UK Australian citizenship with 2 passports.  Don't want to break any laws or get into any trouble but could we come back in on the other passport??
Any advice gratefully accepted!

Hi Bella

Yes, it is up to them at the time, if you haven't done a visa run before you could possibly get another 90 days but really it's hard to say till you try.

Fi you are keen to apply for MM2H at a later time check out www. movetomalaysia. co. uk authorised agents in KL city, they have a great brochure and checklist of all you need to know

Yes you can. Hopefully you can know for certain if you wish to retire to Penang after a second 3 months stay.
