What is the cost of living in Tamale?

Can any one shed light on what is the cost of living in Tamale. Basically I would like to know what would be the cost of vegetables, fruits, milk etc etc.

I can only give you prices in Accra. Local vegetables will probably be cheaper in Tamale as most things are grown in the North.
Milk costs in the region of GHC 3-4 a litre in Accra.
I don't know what type of fruit and veg you are interested in but you can get quite a lot of tomatoes for GHC5 and the same for onions. Green veg tend to be a bit more expensive as they are not local to Ghana but chillies, ginger and garlic are reasonably cheap.

Here very few vendors sells veg by weight so difficult to tell u the quantity v/s price however these are some of the price
Apple 6Ghc per kg or 5pcs in 6Ghc(Big size)
Pear(Nashpati) also same price as of Apple
Water Mellon 4-5ghc
Palak 1Ghc for 2 people one time
Okru(Bhindi) 1Ghc for 2 people one time
Corn 4pcs in 1ghc
Cauliflower 1pcs 4-5ghc
Cabbage 1 pcs聽 3-4ghc
