The process for the registration of company in Nigeria is pretty straight forward. It all depends on the type of company that you wish to register. There are different types of registrations and each of them comes with different procedures and requirements.  We have the Limited Liability Company(ltd), business name(sole proprietorship), incorporated trustee(IT) and companies limited by guarantee.

I will assume you want to register a limited liability company.

Firstly, you'll have to do a company search on  or
to get approval for your desired company name. Once the name is approved, you'll have to upload details of directors which includes residential addresses, email addresses, phone numbers and means of identification, the companies registered/business address, share allotment of each subscriber must be indicated and documents duly signed by each person as the case may be. As for the price, the share capital of the company will determine how much you'll pay.

The duration for registration ranges between 2 weeks and 1 month provided there are no issues encountered during the process.
