Hi Henry! Im actually doing a internship currently aswell. The main advice i麓d give you when it comes to tax is having a rent versicherung number. You麓ll need one to get paid! But your employer should help you out with that. A website I found useful when researching before my job was . Can you speak german?

I鈥檇 therefore just say 鈥渃omplicated鈥� - 80% of the world鈥榮 tax literature is about Germany.
In case you meant just taxation of personal earned income, there were also plenty of discussions on this forum, which you might want to read.

Thanks aisling I麓ll give that a look, yes I can speak german relatively well so I麓m not to worried about moving over. I hear all Germans have very good english aswell though.

Thanks beppi, I am only really interested in my own income tax right now but maybe in the future i麓ll be more interested in the whole system!

Yes they definitely do! They麓re nearly too good, sometimes I find it hard to find oppurtunitys to practice my German and I麓m living in Germany!

huh not ideal! When I move over I would really love to improve my German!
