Cambodian Visa for Thai passport

My partner is a Thai national I am from UK聽 we are due to arrive in SR聽 soon and hoping to stay for at least 6 months.
Would it be best for my partner to enter on the Thai passort {14 days visa free }聽 and then apply for an ordinary visa later.?聽 Cheers

No,聽 the Asean exemption is not a visa and cannot be changed into an Ordinary visa without leaving the country and entering again.

So much better to have both an Ordinary visa on arrival,聽 then extend it a week later for an EG extension of stay for 6 months,聽 no docs required.

At the moment borders are closed and nobody knows how long that will last.聽 But I guess you will be arriving after all is back to normal.
