As the CV19 situation unfolded, not just here in Bulgaria but globally, I began to realise that things can never be the same ever again in so many many ways. This caused me to become  concerned about the financial status quo and the effects it may have, so I began to carry out in depth research into global economics...looking to identify potential winners, losers and developing trends that could be taken advantage of principally to safeguard my families' financial future. Eventually I found something that met all my criteria and I am quite happy to share it so others can protect themselves and their loved ones too.

I'm not yet in Bulgaria, and it hadn't been my plan to go there at all.  However, at the start of this situation, my husband and I had to leave our beloved 'expat' country (Russia), and ended up in Romania.  Our plan this year was to spend some time travelling around Asia and spending some time with family in Australia.

Watching the changes happening in the world since March, we've decided that travelling isn't possible, it's time to simplify our lives in a way, get back to nature, and after doing some research it seems that Bulgaria is a great place for this!

We hadn't intended to 'settle down' until we got old, but now's a good time so we're going to do it.  As soon as the border is open and no more quarantine, we're coming - our priority is no longer to travel the world, it's to look after ourselves, and hopefully our immediate environment.  We're looking forward to moving to Bulgaria and are very positive about our future there.  :-)

My employer deducts Insurance/Social service from my salary each month and pays it to the government. I'm unsure of the benefits.
Is my wife covered?
Is dental care covered?
Do I get to claim for loss of earnings in the current crisis?
If you don't have this information, please let me know where to find it

Benefits of the social security payments are clear - health insurance, unemployment insurance and pension insurance.

Is your wife covered - probably not, but better check with your employer.  There's a way that you/she can pay medical insurance separately.

Is dental care covered - again probably not, but worth checking with your employer. And again you can arrange this separately.

I am not sure what you mean by claiming for loss of earnings due to the crisis, but if your employer has preserved your salary unchanged - probably not. If it did decrease, then you should have already been informed about this.
