thanks Bachar, but BD 1000 in savings every month for me is not possible. I guess you're making loads of money in Bahrain or not paying a lot for your accommodation. I'd have to be earning over BD 3000 to save at-least BD 1000 every month.

My guess is there are as many good answers to your question than  people asking it
It depense on your project... Do you plan on staying here for a short or a long time ? Would you rather enjoy good life and save less or spend the less you can to save more ?
I've seen all kind of expats, some are spending most of their income because they want to enjoy, some prefer to stay 2-3 years working hard, living in a small flat but saving as much as they can. I believe everyone know what's good for them and I will certainly not start to be judgemental
So I guess you'll have to find an answer on your own !

Hi Rizoo, your savings per month will depend on life style. What are your goals(short term/long term)? Is 500bd/month enough for you to obtain your goals?

we can say 500bd/month is enough and we can say its not enough but at the end of the day you should answer your own question
