This is just based on my experience. You can inquire from Indian Club. They are now arranging flights from India to Bahrain, though there’s no definite date for the flights but you can go ahead now and register.

Yes i have heard something similar to getting your tickets booked through the Indian Club or the Kerala Club in Bahrain and I've inquired on the phone and confirmed the same.  Rather than charge incoming expats the amounts the airlines charge, these private clubs try and make bank at a time of need.  Show some empathy and not exploit the situation on hand.
