Hi friends

One of friend want to move in the field of project management.. He want to study the course in USA. I want to know the career fields for project management professionals please help.. Searched a lot got many results not satisfied with the information.While searching got a good blog which had a topic of , the blog was really interesting and helpful for student..Sharing it here...

There are lots of great career options in the US for project managers.聽 Getting a PMP certification is usually a good step for increasing the number of opportunities, as it is a prerequisite for many jobs.

Hi Nancy!

There are a lot of scope for a project manager in technical companies. A project manager is often promoted from the individual contributor ranks. Most technical companies prefer to hire project managers that have worked in a similar technical environment and can appreciate the complexities that are usually involved in the companies. But then it would be good if the person has a technical background.
Moreover becoming a project manager can be a good way to take on management responsibilities while staying current in development. So taking classes or becoming certified in project management is a good way to branch into this field.
