Post new topic

Dear Expat Community,

I would like to know that on LMRA website I see that Legal Status-Employment visa is not valid, what are the consequences of it?

There is also a message Monthly Fees not paid subject to work permit cancellation.

Is it illegal to stay in Bahrain?

Kindly guide

Search forum. Answered this dozens of time.

To keep it simple, you don't have a visa anymore. You have 30 days from cancellation or expiry date to get a new visa or to leave the country.  After that you will be staying illegally - this could lead to fines and denial of all future visas to the country.

Dear Sir,

This is not for me, its for some one I know and wanted to know legality status. Your information is perfect as I was cross checking from this forum.

Kindly update me that lately due to COVID there was temporary relief by ministry for such illegal status people in the country who lost job and staying, what was that? is it still valid?
