Arriving in Muscat

Hi there folks,
I will be starting a new job in Muscat in the next three weeks. I need help with a reasonable furnished accommodation near the university hospital. I also need to know if the accommodation contract is 6 monthly or yearly?

Later on, I need to buy a reasonably priced car.

Any advice will be hugely appreciated
