Hello, Welcome to the forum!
Your questions make more questions :)
Nonetheless a family friend can not be a guardian unless the family friend make an adoption and change the status from family friend to adoptive parent which is not easy to do, there are many requirements that family friend must fulfill to do it and the process can take up to a year or two.

Hello, Now it made even more questions :)  can you start again your question with right relevant background information? Otherwise it would be impossible to give you any useful feedback.

Hi

Thank you for still willing to entertaining my question. Sorry to trouble you. My main question is:
1) my daughter is 15 years old and wants to study in Finland IB program. But she need to Sit for preIB/DP First this August.
- will she be allowed to take preIB this year and can she get a resident permit for that?
- if i as her mother follow her can i be her guardian and get a resident permit so that she is allowed to study in Finland for her preIB.

I know its long hope you can help me because she really want to study in Finland and play Ice hockey at the same time. Thank you.

No problem, happy to help!

Technically your possibility would be through family member visa, provided that she will be granted a student visa. In order to be granted a family member visa you need to show sufficient funds for the whole period which is a very high amount.

However regardless of the school she will complete her IB program, she will be able to study in any country she prefers to do her university studies which means it is only a matter of time. I wish you all the best for both of you!
