COE or Visa?

Post new topic

Hello All,

I am trying to get into Thailand in April and a little confused given all the documents that are needed.  However, i just have one question for anyone who just entered or has recently gone thru the process.

My confusion is the timing of the process of the COE or Visa.  Do I apply for the COE first or the Visa?

Or if you can give me any details on the process that would be great.  I have read the information provided by the Thai Gov, but I am still a little confused.

Thank you in advance.

Hi
From Thai embassy
The applicant must secure the appropriate Thai visa before applying for the COE.
Hope this helps

You must get the visa.  Then the COE.

What is a COE?

Hello there,

Certificate of Entry or COE is the last thing you apply for. You must have your visa first and arrange your ASQ (alternative state quarantine) and your flights. COE application is done online and if everything in order issued within few days of application.  It's quite straight forward if you submit required documentation.

Hope this helps
