Mohammad Reza Amiri

Dear Sir / Madam,
Hope everything goes well by your side.
I am Iranian English teacher. I live in Brasilia since 10th Jan. At this time I'm looking for a full or part time job based on my abilities.
I've worked in this field 3 years. Also I've graduated IELTS Certification in 2013 and TEFL certification in 2021.
In addition to teaching English, I am also active in the field of writing. In addition to the works I have written in Persian, I have also written a book of poetry in English. The name of my poetry book is "Irrigated Dessert". I am now in a new phase of my life that requires more effort and more adaptation to the new environment. Given the extensive work I have done in various fields over the years, I hope I can be effective for your firm. Thanks for your attention!

Looking for hearing from you, at the earliest.

Best wishes,

Mohammad Reza Amiri

This is not an employment site, so potential employers will not see your posts in the forums.  There is a section outside the forums for posting your CV -- see "Jobs", above.

You said in a different thread that you've applied for your CRNM.  Once you have that (but probably not before), you'll be able to apply for and receive your Labor Card, at the Federal District Department of Labor, since you're in Brasília.   At that point, you can start visiting English schools and applying for jobs - there should be many in the Federal District.

If you want to start visiting them ahead of time to build contacts, that's fine, but no one will hire you until you can prove that you can work legally.

Hello Mohammed, my name is Joshua and I may be able to assist you. I am an American and I have been living here since March. I am in Rio de Janeiro, where are you located? I look forward to hearing from you.

Mohammad Reza Amiri

Dear josh,
Thanks for your comment.
I am living in Brasilia for 6 month and I would be happy to contact with you. I can provide my experiences and job background in 10 years ago and my CV to you.
I am from Iran and after my marriage I immigrated to Brazil. As I mentioned in my initial message at this time I would like work any job based on my experiences and abilities.
Even I applied for volunteer job but actually I don't know how can I do that.
I would be happy if I could work with you and I would be appreciated for this opportunity.
I can prove myself

Looking forward to hearing from you, shortly.

Best wishes,

Mohammad Reza Amiri

I am confused.
Mohammad and Joshua, do you both have CRNM's and work cards?
In order to live and work in Brasil you need both.
From all your past posts it appears neither are permanent residents?

Excellent to hear back from you Mohammed, my plan is to accept multiple job offers for customer service work and put together a team to fulfill them. Similar to a call center or telecommunications company. I have access to many jobs that allow/require remote from home. My first couple of months here have been more of a relaxing and recuperating experience from the hard work I did in America for my mind and body. All I need is to get a computer, which I will do soon and I will begin. You appear to speak and type more than than the minimum ability needed to accomplish this. Eventually I will be able to offer this same opportunity to many others. The compensation will be well above market rate and is negotiable. Let me know if you are interested in more information. I look forward to  hearing from you.

Mohammad Reza Amiri

Dear
I can't Understand you very well. let be frank and clarify everything we need for each other.
As I said before, I would like work here even volunteer job, at this time my goal is improve my Portuguese language.
I would be grateful if anyone could help me to find a volunteer job here. for example: helping different people in terms of education, digital marketing, sales and marketing, communication and so on.
Looking forward to hearing from you.

Thank you

Texanbrazil

Mohammad,
Ok. To be frank you must meet requirements to even apply for permanent residence. You cannot enter BR on a tourist visa and work.
I would look at a site as Peace Corp, or others first. Not knowing Portuguese beforehand will hold you back. See what the requirements are to be a volunteer.
You will not be allowed to stay in Brazil by just saying you want to volunteer. You cannot work in Brazil at all unless you have a sponsor that will submit an application to hire you to the government, This is difficult because the government has "Brazilians First". Meaning the sponsor must prove there are no Brazilian that meet the requirements!

Remember that it is illegal for a foreigner to work in Brazil without a CRNM and  Labor Card.  And as always, be extremely wary of sharing bank account or other financial or identifying information with anyone  on the Internet.

Mohammad Reza Amiri

Dear,
Thanks for reply.
I told before that now I have permanent residency, CRNM, CPF, work permit, Cart de trabalho,...
I live here in Brasilia since 6 month ago and my wife is Brazilian.
Because of our marriage, I immigrated to this country and during this time being here, I graduated Portuguese course at NEPPE UNB.
So at this time I would like work As a volunteer or whatever. And I want to share my experiences with others and also learn from others.

With best Monday smiles,

Mohammad Reza Amiri

Mohammad,

Excellent - you're all set then.  As Texanbrazil has said, the job market is terrible now, but it will improve eventually,  and Brasília is a good place to be when it does.  All the best to you!

Hello there. My name is Mike and  I am from England but have been living and working here since 2003. I notice that you are thinking of setting up a company and you will require people to work for you from home?? If so, please consider me. I am fluent in both English and Portuguese but recently, the company I used to work for was forced to close down.  And now, I find myself unemployed which is strange for me as I have worked virtually all my life. If you do decide to open up your company, please consider me. I can send you my CV if you like.?ILook forward to hearing from you. I live by the beach in Lauro de Freitas, near Salvador, Bahia. Hello Mohammad

Thanks for your reply. I am hoping that perhaps Joshie may be able to help us both in our search for work. My Brazillian wife suffered a heart attack recently so I am at home looking after her at present. But, I need income of some sort and am prepared to do just about anything. Lets hope something turns up and I wish you well with your life here in Brazil. Take care my friend.

Anyway, hope you are settling down well in Brazil and I wish you well with your future venture which I am sure will be a success. And hopefully, maybe Mohammad and I can be a part of that success.

As mentioned this forum is not a job site. Just post under jobs.
As an expat one must be familiar with Brazilian work laws.
The Brazilian consolidation of labor laws known in Brazil as Consolidação das Leis do Trabalho or simply CLT is the major legislation regulating labor activities in the country. It was created in 1943 and approved by president Getúlio Vargas.
Be certain as to employment contracts. CLT is and will take 20% for covering retirement in Brazil. If one is discovered working in Brasil without abiding the rules can cause major issues foe all.
