There are three existing threads in which your question was already addressed.  Please read through them to see if any of the options is feasible to you:

Your British passport should show your birthplace.  That's the first step.

Thank you so much, but I still not sure where to go to obtain my birth certificate.

Other than Vietnam do you know where you were born?  That is what city/hamlet/commune or at least what province.  That is probably the place to start.

Thank you, I know where I was born, I emailed the Vietnamese embassy in the UK, It was not helpful , I keep go round and round.

If you followed her first link, you would have seen Ciambella's suggestion to actually go to the place of your birth.  "You will need to return to the place where your birth was registered to apply for a reissuance of birth certificate."

As I see it, right now you have two alternatives:  1) wait until after the rules change and you can go to Vietnam on a tourist visa or 2) hire a local lawyer remotely.  Unless you receive firm recommendations on who to hire, #2 could be chancy, not so much because they could cheat you but because they might not be competent.  You might get recommendations on lawyers from others if you post your place of birth.

Thank you so much for your advice, I have to wait until I can go to Vietnam and find out about it.
