What is the process for citizenship after Permanent Residency?

My Permanent Residency ends in 2023. What do I have to do to gain citizenship?

I'm not aware the permanent resident status expires... hence the name "permanent".

And yes you'll need a lawyer in order to prepare and submit all the paperwork involved in the process.

On my Carne de Residente Permanente it has Expira: 17-JUN-2023.

So can I just renew it?

Yes you just need to renew it
