Looking for advice Please

Hi, I am Kevin and i am considering moving to Portugal on a NHR this year.  I have been recommended to look around the Armacao de pera area. I would like to be close to a marina as i am a keen boat man and fisherman. I would initially prefer to rent a house or small villa on a community complex as opposed to buying a property.
I have live most of my life in the UK just north of London and have a source of income for retirement, I am also invested into Crpyto . I have an Irish passport which is helpful for this move and i would really appreciate any advice or tips from you guys. Kind Regards Kevin.

Hi Kevin,
You have a marina in Portimão and another in Vilamoura.
Vilamoura's marina is more expensive than Portimão's.
You have places around with vilas at a good price fopr rent.
Best Regard's

Hi kevmacduff
There is no marina at Armação de Pêra, but the place offers a scenic cliff top walk and calm beach if you want a less windier beach than others.

In my stay I found it difficult to come across new or recent construction. Dated Portuguese constructions have very little sound and thermal insulation and this will vastly effect your energy bill. Renting is a good way to get to know the pros and cons of each construction type.

Your move should be pretty straightforward and simple considering that you’re EU.

Hi Kevin,
Which advice do you want? Here is the list of Marinas in the Algarve:

___

You can start by choosing the location you want, and then choose the property.

In english, Marinas and Pleasure Harbours in Algarve:

"Apart from its marinas, the Algarve has 6 more nautical tourism support facilities, offering more than 3,960 moorings. Set sail for the pleasure harbours in Portimão, Olhão and Vila Real de Santo António, the pleasure docks in Portimão and Faro or the Bartolomeu Dias Quay in Portimão." ;)
