Lifting of travel Ban

Hi everyone,

I am going to relocate to Belgium in late August with my family. Last week I received form 46 and a clearance for my work permit and residency. The next step was to聽 apply for visa D through VFS but given the health situation in India, processing of d visa and travel from India with new d visa is temporarily banned.

Any clue as to till when will the temporary suspension of visa processing and travel from India will stay? The last time, in 2020, it was for 3 months.

Who knows? As long as the cases and deaths keep on rising I can not see the ban being lifted anytime soon.

Sad to say but it much depends on the situation in India.

Hopefully it can be under control soon.

Best of luck - I don't anticipate anybody being able to give you a solid date, I'm sure they'll keep monitoring but given the high incidence rate in India it might be quite a while unless there are very strong reasons to give you essential travel status.
