Malaysia EP Processing time

Hi

I had an opportunity at one of the Malaysian Company and they applied for the EP and DP on May 18. I'm just curious how long it takes to get approval for Phase 1 of this COVID-19 situation? Currently, the application status is under In MDEC: Verification stage

I'm from India and I work in Singapore. I don't know how to get into Malaysia in this pandemic situation.

Any input appreciated.

Thanks

Hi,

My EP status changed from In MDEC Verification stage to MDEC Decision Stage. But my company mistakenly chose the visa collection from India instead of Singapore.

Is it possible to change the collection of visas from India to Singapore in the existing submitted application while the application is in the decision phase?

Thanks,

Yes it’s possible, they can submit a letter to request and it takes about 14 days to process however for entry approval you may face some difficulty as yesterday they announced it based on country of passport not country of residence. So currently Indian passport holders are banned from entering. Some people had some luck previously by applying multiple times but that was before the confirmation.

Hi guys just wanted to check the status in Malaysia right now? Are they mostly approving the EPass request? I was offered a job there and about to process it. My company will be applying it for me. Do I need to be worry or something? Thanks in advance!

Can you share the list of the countries banned? What about dependent visa? I have been rejected twice.

Avoid Malalysia. They dont want any foreigners and Indians they have plenty. Why here? °Everything takes forever to process as these people are lazy xxxs. Then IF you are accepted youll need to pay a " contribution" .Look elsewhere unless you are desperate.Foreigners are treated like dirt.Indians worse.

Hi All,

Finally, my EP is approved and planning to present the passport to the Malaysian embassy in Singapore for stamping.

Can someone help me through the stamping process? is it a direct walk-in or need to make an appointment before submitting my passport for stamping?

Thanks,

Cheryllau

Hi, do you mean to get single entry visa? Due to pandemic, walk ins are not allowed and have you obtained MyEntry? I am running an immigration advisory and gave recently assisted a Chinese citizen in Singapore to enter Malaysia smoothly . ***
