EWA New Municipal Fee Account

Post new topic

Hello everyone!
Hope someone out there can help with my question please.

I have a villa that renting out in Bahrain but I don’t live in Bahrain anymore.

Recently EWA has informed me to do “New Municipal Fee Account” registration online.

On the registration page, it says “All lease agreements should be in Arabic or attached with Arabic translation issued from an appointed translation office”, but I have only an English one.

I have no idea who is the appointed translation office. Can somebody direct me to the right place/person..? Preferably someone I can arrange online or by an email since I don’t physically live in Bahrain?

Also another question regarding the municipal fee account: do I have to attach ONLY the first page of the lease agreement..? When I attach the document I can only attach one page. If anyone knows or done this before please help!

Thanks in advance:)

Literally any translation service based in Bahrain.   Google and call them.

On the pages, I am not sure as I haven't had to do that.  You can try uploading a PDF with all pages combined in that?

Thank you for your kind reply!

Glad to know that any translation company in Bahrain will do.

Thanks for your idea about the PDF. Will try and see if that works!

Hi Xtang.

I hope you are doing good.

Does one need to open a municipality account after owning a house for self-use? OR is this only applicable to renting a house? If required how to proceed with that. Thank you.

OR

When EWA is transferred to my name, will municipality charges be added automatically?

Thank you for this help.

Best Regards

Uday
