Hi,

I need some details on South Africa.

Earlier we also stayed in Kenya.
Please could you help us with more knowledge about the country.

Working Hours and weekly holidays
Experience in working with the locals
General Work culture from an Indian point of view.
Education Facilities for Indian expat children and names of some good schools.
Availibility of International and Indian cusine and names of some good restaurants(price,quality)
Religious places for Indian Expats like Temples, Gurudwara, JainMandir etc. Celebration of festivals.
Availability of Indian Groceries/Utilities.
Infrastructure like phone/electricity/water –availability and cost.
Housing Facilities
Availability of transport for Expat Men /Children and ladies
Availability of Domestic help
Recreational Facilities and social life of Indian Expat Community
Work opportunities for Expat women.
Medical Facilities
Security Concerns/Precautions

Working Hours and weekly holidays - normally from 8am - 5 pm

Experience in working with the locals - all depends what type of job you do

General Work culture from an Indian point of view. -  Do not know, but here people are very kind to one another..remember, this is the rainbow nation

Education Facilities for Indian expat children and names of some good schools. - depends where you are going to be living in SA

Availibility of International and Indian cusine and names of some good restaurants(price,quality) - All over the place , in every town

Religious places for Indian Expats like Temples, Gurudwara, JainMandir etc. Celebration of festivals. - sorry do not know

Availability of Indian Groceries/Utilities. Should not be a problem

Infrastructure like phone/electricity/water –availability and cost. everywhere available ...internet costs are high compared to the rest of the world

Housing Facilities - rental places available

Availability of transport for Expat Men /Children and ladies - not a problem at all...your wife can rive the kids to school and back. Most schools have school buses

Availability of Domestic help - a dime a dozen..lol

Recreational Facilities and social life of Indian Expat Community - It is a free country , you will find so much to do over weekends

Work opportunities for Expat women. - Your wife should not battle, if her qualifications are up to scratch she should be able to find a job

Medical Facilities - as long as you get a private medical aid and not use the government hospitals,,,service is shocking

Security Concerns/Precautions - please just be aware that crime is high here...always be aware of your surroundings
