Hi,
after submitting visa, could you submit your precise payslip and rent contract?

likeaen

Hi Shincy, as your situation, I experienced same thing. But not embassy nor immigration office but VFS reached me via email. VFS sent an email after 20 days from our application, they requested "registered house contract" and extra "pay slips" of my husband. I think you should contact to VFS because as I know consulates dont contact you directly they use VFS to contact and request docs. You can reply the email which is sent to you and ask what should you do. Because the email I receive was giving exact details where should I leave the missing documents.

Hope this helps and you hug your family soon, stay safe.

Quick question, how long did they take to respond to the house contract after presenting it? I find myself in a similar situation. They asked me to present the house contract which I have. My only worry is how long they take to respond after presenting considering the fact I already waited 7 months.

Hi goodfella, actually the house contract registration requested right after our application before our file reached immigration office so the answer i will give you, wont refer anything. They requested an extra file on December 9th from us and i provided it on 30 December, but the status still didn’t change to in progress it still shows as document needed. But they requested ny husband’s renewed a card, so we are waiting for it. So I think this is because our status still documents needed. I called embassy and ask for help as ibz always sending same email and answer nothing. I suggest you to ask embassy why it took so long. Because as I know if your partner is eu, the visa approved right aftet six months end automatically. Asking embassy can help. Wish you the best..

Thank you, this is very helpful information.

Hi,

My family visa is showing status as " in treatment " in ibz . what does it mean ? Any idea.
And how long does it take here after.

likeaen

Hi in treatment means your application is in process. God knows how long it will take afterwards :) but the timeline for the eu citizen 6 months and for non eu 9 months total. Hope you have it soon

asifawar5563

Hi,
Any update on status your family reunions visa??

asifawar5563

Any change in the status of your family reunion visa??

Guest23756

Hi everyone
13 December my husband apply D visa   And ibz don’t show anything. So I call them ibz and I asked my file and they said 8feb was rejected so they said  you have to do this 3 things and send as by mail(ibz)  and do I need to send the embassy and vfs too thank you

1. The applicant submitted a rental contract, but not proof that this rent was registered. The revision of the decision is possible, even if the registration is carried out after the decision has been taken;

2. The applicant has submitted a certificate from the health insurance fund, but not in the required form Certificate from the health insurance fund – Standard form

3. The applicant is a minor and travelling alone, but he has not presented a parental authorisation.

Anyone know what it means that "visa application has a proposition" but not yet finalised?what does proposition mean in this context?

Kendy Makere

@guest23756 if your husband is applying why do they refer to a minor?

Hi,

Can someone tell me how many months payslip I need to provide while my wife applies for the visa d at the vfs as part of the family reunification process? I am a non eu individual.

Adeyola

Officially 3months but you can show 6 months

AlexFromBelgium

give one year of payslips and add your annual tax documents too (myminfin)

If you're a freelance/self-employee then you'll have to give way more documents, especially about your company (2-3 years of taxes, etc)

dutcho

Is 1 year mandatory or just a safety net when it comes to the approval?. Could you guide me to the website that states this perhaps.

AlexFromBelgium

1 year is the best so they can see you've stable, regular and sufficient income.
They'll force you to give at least one year tax file (avertissement-extrait de rôle) to take into account the stability of your job.

Avalu

So 1 year payslip & tax file is more then enough financial proof to apply for visa?

Because at my list they pointed out  a whole list...I was gonna prepare the salary slip, tax file, a print of my bank account & apply a annexe 3Bis at my Municipality

Anyone have an idea how to proof house contract registration?
Because I don't pay "rent" since I moved in at my father house since my mom passed away...

And do all papers sended to VFS needed to be legalized by Belgium legalisation office

Sorry for all these questions...(but I looked up the whole forum and I got even more confused)

Proof of host’s financial means

-    Salary slips of the last three months (2 Copies)

-    Bank statements, income tax papers and Formal Obligation (annexe 3Bis/bijlage 3Bis) from the Municipality in Belgium (original + copy + document needs to be printed recto/verso).
(2 Copies)

AlexFromBelgium

What you do is correct, but don't forget to also add your family composition too or your annexe 3bis will be denied.

The Annexe 3bis (which is mandatory anyway in your case), is just a document that state you'll cover all the finance for your partner, damage done, etc...
It doesn't state that you have enough stable, regular and sufficient income.
Payslip, tax file, bank statement do that.
So don't mix things ;)

About the house, it will depends who is the legal owner of the house.

If your dad has a part of full ownership then he'll need to write a document that he allows your partner to come, live and register in the house + legalized at the commune + copy id card (also add his family composition document too as an extra)
And in your invitation letter to welcome your partner in Belgium write in bold that you don't have a rent and explain the situation.
You father must give a copy of the ownership certificate if he's the owner.
If he's renting, then the myrent certificate.

If you both own the house together, then your father will also have to agree to invite your partner, add his documents, ...
If you own the house, then add the certificate of ownership.

Hi can I get dependent visa for my mother

Avalu

Actually...I think I made a mistake...I'm applying VISA C for marriage and not VISA D to join spouse
So I think I don't need to show I live at my father house?

Proof of host’s financial
-Salary slips of the last three months (2 Copies)

-Bank statements, income tax papers and Formal Obligation (annexe 3Bis/bijlage 3Bis) from the Municipality in Belgium (original + copy + document needs to be printed recto/verso).
(2 Copies)

An official copy of the marriage notice from City Hall

Copy of identity proof of inviter(s)

Proof of relationship

Applicant’s birth certificate

Medical certificate

Police Clearance

Medical insurance policy

Copy of old pasport

@Avalu Proof of host's financial means

-    Salary slips of the last three months (2 Copies)

-    Bank statements, income tax papers and Formal Obligation (annexe 3Bis/bijlage 3Bis) from the Municipality in Belgium (original + copy + document needs to be printed recto/verso).
(2 Copies) - an a non eu individual can I provide just 3 months salary slip and income tax papers for that period for the family reunification visa?
Avalu
@dutcho As mention above, It's 3 months salary slip + income tax as minimum required proof but I don't know about what exact requirements are visa D family reunification but it should be the same as visa C

They just made a whole list for me "bank statement, salary slip, income tax & annexe 3B"
Although I heard you don't need to give last 3 months bank statements aslong you give whole year salary slips but I give all documents.
I rather give too much then later get an email with "please provide more evidence" and delay my process...

I don't even have much at my bank currency...only 6k euro (had to fix my car battery last month which took almost all my saving)
So I hope that's enough as bank statement...
Sami Naji

@Avalu payslip should be enough. They won't ask for your bank statement since it is considered breaching your data privacy

Avalu

I got this after I made an appointment for the visa
But ofcourse I add extra but I guess I could drop the bank statement since I'm to be honest not comfortable either for strangers to see what I spend during the last 3 months
But I would show to them only if it's really needed

I'll give only 2021 payslip + tax income + 2022 payslips + annexe 3Bis *update*

@dutcho I think better atleast 6 months payslip so a better overview
