In my case Yes, They will give you temporary activation for Iqama renewal. Once you completed the course have to submit the certificate to them to update in their records.

what is your case? i have visited two times socpa office, they said complete the degree then we will activate the membership, may there are some misunderstanding or miscommunication, can you please guide? i have masters degree in finance they said its not accepted even B.com degree two years, they are not accepting.

I think all of you are talking about different things.

You CAN get SOCPA membership on a temporary basis (Temporary accounting technician), the FIRST time you register for it by only submitting course enrollment.

But if in a year, the membership status does not change (i.e. become permanent) and lapses, only way it will become active again is if you show proof of having attended the courses or have gotten a degree.  Registering will not activate it.

attended courses from anywhere? not from SOCPA? for example if i will take admission in arab open university and i will show them the proof of attended clases, will they accept?

In my case i done my BCom 3 years, they will not accept 2 years degree. I think this is the reason they denied your activation on enrollment of suggested course from SOCPA side.

You mentioned you have master degree in Finance.. is it just Finance or "Accounting & Finance"
Also how about the modules mentioned in degree transcript? doesn't it has 3 subjects in Accounts to cover 15hrs?
