Hi
I have a house in Queretaro where my Canadian tenant has not paid rent for a month nor utilities.
I am a Mexican citizen and I am
Not sure what I can do.  I believe he has abandoned the house because there hasn’t been any movement. I have left a note under the door to ask to communicate with me. Also I have sent him several message through social median and nothing
Does anyone have suggestion or knows what I can do to get control of my house.
Need help
Fritz

Don't you have a key to your own house?? Open it up and go in!

Yep, go in

he may be dead in there. It is your duty and right to go and check. Go with a witness and record everything.

First Last
If he is still occupying the premise (personal items  particularly closets full of clothing, etc)start the MX eviction process. Because the tenent is a foreign national there are no extraordinary privileges.

You mentioned you left a note. If it is evident the note was removed from where you placed it, it is evident the tenant read it.

If the premises appeared to be abandoned, clean the house, pay the electric,  and re rent it. Be sure to obtain a sufficient deposit to cover the expenses for  the next nonpaying tenant. I strongly suggest you change the locks.
