Retirees planning to move to Paphos region

Hi everyone. Im new here.

We are retired British citizens presently living in the USA and wish to move later this year to Paphos, Cyprus. Having many questions to ask.

First question would be - As British citizens currently living in the USA what do we need to do and obtain to enable us to emigrate to Cyprus?

Only fine if you can meet the new criteria requirements now.. but we do need to clarify what they now mean for those who have planned to make the move and the impacts of the changes . Some wil find them devastating some will manage some will have to change those plans ..

The new criteria as far as we know聽 applies to all non EU nationals...

I'm getting close to throwing the towel in!

Been trying to get quotes on health insurance to no avail. My husband has a pre-existing condition requiring oxygen - the main reason for wanting to move to Cyprus as its a lower altitude and the sea air would benefit him greatly. Can't seem to get any replies. As that is a requirement for entry Im at a loss as to what to do and who to try next. Had confusing information re oxygen supplies as one company says they do Inogen and yet another department says they don't. Frustration all around.

Haven't put the house on the market yet until all these issues are resolved. It seems like one step forward and too many steps back.

Can anyone out there please give me any leads???

First thing what sort of health insurance do you need and I have one company in mind I have a good friend in health insurance and can past your information over to him and I can ask for you first.

You could try a UK based health insurance company as long as the policy is effective in聽 Europe incl Cyprus it should be acceptable ... It doesn't need to be based in Cyprus

You could call.the Cyprus companies via Skype if you have credited account.. I use that for UK calls when I need to..... Much more effective than waiting on email or from a quotation request on line....

I will see what i can find out in the Paphos district re oxygen
