Travel by Private Car from UAE to KSA

I am an Expat, having resident permit in both UAE and KSA countries. (1) Please let me know the process to travel by road in my personal car from UAE to KSA. (2) How long can I stay in KSA if I enter from UAE in my Car. (3) Are there any restrictions/requirements that I need to fulfill before initiating my travel.

1) Car in your name or NOC/Permission from Owner (Bank etc)

2) Not clear.聽 Muroor says that you need to exit every 3 weeks or so.聽 However, people stay longer than this.聽 Some have reported fines on exiting the car after a few months

Read what I said - according to Muroor, you need to be exiting the car at least once a month or rather every 3 weeks.聽聽So technically speaking, you can be fined for keeping it longer.聽 Whether they fine you or not, is another matter.聽聽Some people have been fined and some have not - that is your risk.

One more query please, All my family members coming by Car have Iqama, except one who has KSA VISA and will enter KSA for the first time by road. Is it OK - allowed to enter from Land Border Port ?.

Visa holder can enter from land border EXCEPT if on their visa, on mode of transport, in Arabic, says BY AIR (JU).

When they enter, they will have to go to separate area (if it is a new visa being used for first time entry to KSA) and do their pictures / fingerprints.聽 That can take a while so plan for it.聽
