Travel from the uk by car

Hi everyone, I'm driving out for the first time in July, to get our renovation project underway.

Having spent time ripping out last year we start the renewing this year.

The route from the uk shows the quickest way across and throughSerbia. are there any countries/regions to be wary of? There will be 3 of us, so only going to be short stops as we share the driving.  But I will be travelling back alone after 6 weeks.

There are checks in quite a few countries, even more so now due to the outbreak of Foot and Mouth.
