Private healthcare

Hi

We are hoping to move to Brittany Oct,/Nov this year.
We are not retirement age but will not be working in France.
I will be working in UK, so we will need healthcare.听听Everything i have read says we will need private healthcare however i had heard via a friend that two teachers retired early but not OAP were paying into the French system for care. Thus is obviously cheaper than going private.
Anyone know the requirements to do this ?听 Or can anyone recommend a reasonable healthcare provider.
I have had quotes Bupa, Cigma, and a few others all over a 100a week

In case you are still looking: you could try Global Insurance Net for several affordable insurance plans, I was very happy with their service.听 They represent all of the expat health insurance companies from the US, and they helped me with my claim.
