Hi all,

We invite all the ones who got married in Wales or who are about to get married in Wales to participate in this thread

What are the formalities to get married in Wales? Is it the same for a couple of foreigners of for a mixed couple (between a foreigner and a native of Wales)?

Are the procedures complicated?

How long does it take to carry out all the formalities?

just wanted to wish you good luck,,,,, my parents got married 59 years ago in North Wales, moved down to Cardiff and after 2 years immigrated to Switzerland ( my mum's Swiss, my das's Welsh) and live more or less happily ever after,,,,,,,
