Can i convert Singapore driving license to Bahrain

Dear All,

I will be coming over to Bahrain to work in next 2-3 months time. I am holding Indian driving license as well as of Singapore.
Additional I will get IDP from Singapore before coming to Bahrain (my current location is Singapore).

Would like to ask this forum member that
1. am I allowed to drive in bahrain using IDP while on work visa.
2. Can i convert Singapore driving license to Bahrain ( I am India national). If yes what is the fee and procedure.

I would suggest that you have a look at this thread which addresses the question of driving on an International Driving Permit.

Basically you can only use an International Driving Permit if you are on a visit visa.聽 So the answer to your first question is "No".

Yes your Singapore DL can be converted to a Bahrain DL without a test, refer to the below link where in we had the same discussion.
