Hello everyone,

Which city or area do you live in in Jordan, and how do you find the traffic?

How long does it take to commute to work or run errands?

Is there a rush hour in your city? What times of the day would you recommend people to avoid driving if they can?

Are there any ways to avoid spending too much time in traffic in Jordan?

What is parking availability and cost like?

What is the traffic like?聽 It's horrible, awful, irritating.聽 It will make you swear, have a headache and make you want to leave.聽 Parking?聽 What parking?聽 There is no parking and if you pull in, no one will wait and let you out.聽 What time is the best?聽 None.聽 Ok, maybe 3 am on a Tuesday.聽 Makes me wish I could fly.聽 No area is good except maybe Wadi Rum out in the sand.聽 If you drive you better be really good at it and have a lot of patience and anger.聽 If you're not cussing, you're dead!

If you can drive in Jordan, you can drive anywhere.聽 Lines don't matter, vehicles pull in wherever there may (or may not) be room.聽 You have to drive deliberately, be extremely aware of where a car can come from from any direction, and react quickly.聽 It's a free for all, it's a lesson in defensive driving to the extreme.
