Irish Session in Kuwait?

Tesserkate

Moving to Kuwait in May for a few months.  I can survive the heat, the culture shock, the crazy driving, but there is ONE thing I can't live without, and that's a good Irish session.  I play traditional Irish fiddle.  Anyone know whether one exists?  Since there's no pubs it'd have to be somewhere else.  Any info would be great.  Otherwise I'll have to start one up from scratch!

Thanks,

Katie

An Irish Pub would be great. But what's a pub without the beer? :P
Good Luck on your search!

...yeah it won't be totally authentic without the guinness, but I'll take what I can!

maybe the best place to start would be with the irish community of kuwait; ive met quite alot @ gaelic football, so they have a presence - not sure if its online tho but, hmm, how to go abouts this for privacy issues?

ok, get on facebook, and search for "Kuwait Harps G.A.A Club", u'll find all the Irish folk there, im guessing they're the best to ask about this.

top of the mornin' to ya ;)

Hi Katie,

you should also have a look to the Kuwait expat network ;)

Great, I'll look at both of those.  Thanks for your help!
