Hello everyone,

The Olympic Games are now just a few days away and we would like to talk about sports.

What sports are the most popular and/or unusual in Oman?

Are sports facilities easily accessible there? Where and how can one find sports clubs in the region?

Are there sports events regularly held in the country?

And you? What is your favourite sport? Which one(s) do you practice in Oman?

Hello every one
If you talk about sports not only in oman but also in all gulf country people like football mostly to play and watch.
But we indian people like cricket,
Cricket tournaments are regularly organized in Oman , Salalah and i don't have idea about other games.

Now, In Oman, very good in cricket. Maybe near future, they will win Cup. There are several sports like Football, Gulf etc. We pray for them.

Hi Priscilla,

Since it is very hot now a days we now don't prefer outdoor sports.

May be its advisable to enjoy tennis at Qurum in the evening or fishing can be considered as a sport and a hobby as well and also beach football.
