Until and unless these two documents are renewed, you can't change your sponsorship to them.

Yes, unless its renewed you cant change the sponsorship and if you are caught working at the new employer without transfer of sponsorship you will face some issues along with your sponsor.

Hi hr GURu, can iqama renew if commercial registration is expire?

Can I renew my iqama or can I transfer sponsorship if my current kafil status is by "Commercial Registration expired - municipal license expired".

Until the cr is renewed, this cannot be done.

Hi Guru, can it be possible to exit after contract in yellow zone even iqama is not renewed by employer?

dears friends
i have send transfer request to tomy sponsor which company in yellow zone and i cant renew my iqama but my mykafeel did not recive the requst and the request is now in moi is under studying .
while one one day latter my sponsor cancel the two doc
commercial expired
and  muncipal licence expired
while whilemy iqama will be expire at 19 april
how can i take tronsfor
please guide guide me

The answer you gave is applicable in Saudi Arabia or UAE?
Can you provide any reference (link) from any related Ministry, where it is mentioned?

1) You are on the Saudi forums so this is obviously about Saudi
2) The posters whom you are asking are not active on the forums nowadays so you may not get a response
3) In this part of the world, majority of the guidelines and procedures are not listed online.  You only learn about it through experience.  The only exceptions that I have come across are Bahrain and UAE where commercial registration guidelines are clearly listed
4) When it comes to violating guidelines, the impacts are given in Laws (in Arabic) but every case is different
5) Coming to the point, in pretty much most GCC countries, if your CR has expired, this in essence means that you pretty much can't do any transaction e.g. issuance of new visas or transfers or whatever.  If you don't renew it for a certain period of time and it remains in that phase, it can get deleted or blocked and all visas linked to it, cancelled.  Municipality is about your physical office location and your right to operate out of it - if that is suspended, it has a flow on impact on the CR as a violation and then on visas

Having said that, if you want to try and research, you can have a look here to see the laws of the commercial register.



Then go to the Ministry of Labor / MOFA and read laws on work permits / visas.  Put all the relevant laws from these ministries together and you will arrive at what the posters were saying earlier.  Or take their word for it because you are definitely not going to find an official site which will summarize it clearly for you

Also for may case, this coming December 27, 2023   my contract will expired on february 14,2024 , and i want to ask for exit Visa is it no problem i will encountered? I will exit on my end of contract! Thank you for the answer!
