Hello everybody, If you exported your car to Colombia, were there any formalities that needed to be completed beforehand? What were they? What is the best way to export your car? Is there a limit on the number of vehicles, or perhaps the age ...

louis_e>: what makes you say that 'Davivienda should be avoided like the plague'. Publishing the actual rate is anything but tricking people, and since rates go down as much as up you may get a better deal. You are in no way obligated to ... Read More

58m2 is very small for a two bedroom apartment, but its rental value depends a lot on the exact location. If Financaraiz has it listed for $1,000,000 then they are likely expecting to rent it for quite a bit less. You may be able to avoid the ... Read More

I'm having a difficult time finding what documents are required and the fees to obtain an M-11. Perhaps I'm blind. I will go to a consulate in the US to do this. Unfortunately, all I get is a recording when I call the consulate and no info. ...

Most Colombian banks have quite heavy hidden charges for any activities where their staff attend to you. You can mostly avoid these charges by using the ATM, although Davivienda (and others) start to charge you $1300 after your 6th visit in a month. Read More
